Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of farm workers, including planting, cultivation, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting.
- Develop and implement work schedules to ensure timely execution of all farm operations.
- Monitor crop and livestock health and promptly address any issues affecting productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of farm activities, inputs, yields, and operational costs.
- Oversee the maintenance and proper use of farm equipment, tools, and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with agricultural best practices, health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Support farm management in planning and budgeting for resources such as seeds, fertilizers, feed, and machinery.
- Train and guide farm staff on proper farming techniques and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with the farm manager to implement sustainable agricultural practices and improve productivity.
- Inspect fields, crops, and livestock regularly to assess progress and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate procurement and inventory management for farm supplies and materials.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on farm performance, staff attendance, and production output.
- Foster teamwork, discipline, and accountability among farm personnel.

General Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Agriculture, Crop Science, Animal Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in farm supervision or agricultural production.
- Sound knowledge of crop production, livestock management, and farm maintenance practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage teams and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in recordkeeping and use of basic farm management tools.
- Knowledge of modern and sustainable farming techniques is an added advantage.
- Integrity, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to farm operations.
