- - Operate and maintain centre lathes, milling, drilling, grinding, lapping, and shaping machines to execute precision machining activities.
- - Manufacture, repair, and refurbish components including shafts, couplings, gears, bushings, sleeves, spacers, fasteners, pins, and other rotating equipment components.
- - Perform internal and external threading, turning, boring, milling, grinding, and other machining operations.
- - Select appropriate materials based on engineering drawings, specifications, operating requirements, and component application.
- - Interpret and work accurately from engineering drawings, sketches, dimensions, tolerances, and technical specifications.
- - Carry out dimensional inspection using calibrated metric and imperial measuring instruments, including micrometers, verniers, bore gauges, and other precision tools.

- - Significant senior-level experience in precision machining within Oil & Gas, rotating equipment, or industrial maintenance environments.
- - Proven proficiency in operating centre lathes, milling, drilling, grinding, lapping, and shaping machines.
- - Strong knowledge of precision machining, tolerances, fits, surface finishes, and dimensional control.
- - Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and machining instructions.
- - Competence using calibrated metric and imperial precision measuring instruments.
- - Knowledge of material identification and selection for mechanical components.
- - Practical experience repairing and refurbishing rotating equipment components.
- - Experience with JDE, CMMS, or equivalent work-order documentation systems.
- - Strong understanding of HSE requirements and safe machine-shop practices.
- - Ability to provide technical guidance and lead junior technicians/machinists.
- - Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Production/Manufacturing Engineering, Machining Technology, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
