About the Platform

Kobape Agro-Industrial Estate is being developed as a fully integrated productive land and processing platform in Ogun State, not lifestyle agriculture, but a serious agro-industrial system combining crop production, processing infrastructure, rural employment, and logistics capability. Productive activity is already underway on site.

The estate is designed to become a proof-of-execution flagship: credible to institutional investors, relevant to food security policy, and replicable as a model for agro-industrial development across Southwest Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

Own day-to-day site operations: production activity, contractor management, utilities, access, and estate security

Drive the progressive build-out of the estate's productive, processing, and logistics infrastructure in line with the development plan

Manage vendor, supplier, and labour relationships on-site with discipline and accountability

Establish operational systems, reporting rhythms, and milestone tracking so the estate functions independently of founder presence

Identify and resolve operational blockers proactively, with solutions, not escalations

Maintain a clean record of production outputs, costs, and estate activity for investor and stakeholder reporting

Coordinate with the principal on strategic decisions, capital deployment, and stakeholder engagement as required

Build the estate's reputation as a visit-worthy, credible demonstration of agro-industrial execution

First 90 Days — What We Expect

Full operational audit of current site activity, infrastructure status, and vendor relationships, documented and presented to principal

Clear 12-month milestone plan agreed with principal, with sequenced priorities and resource requirements

All active vendor and contractor relationships reviewed, renegotiated where necessary, and brought under structured agreements

Weekly operational reporting rhythm established and operational

Requirements & Qualifications

Background in agriculture, agribusiness, estate management, or rural development

Experience working directly with or for a principal-led organisation

Familiarity with Southwest Nigeria's agricultural geography and supply chain dynamics

Exposure to investor or institutional reporting environments

Demonstrable experience managing a project, operation, or programme with a real budget, real timelines, and real accountability

Proven ability to make decisions and solve problems independently, without needing to escalate everything

Comfort working in field and semi-rural environments; this is not a desk role

Strong organisational capability: you track things, follow through, and close loops

Integrity and ownership orientation, you treat this as your platform, not just your job
