Key Responsibilities

Job Title: Quality Assurance & Compliance Officer

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Lagos & Ibadan (with occasional remote work requirements).


Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement weekly QA checks: back-checks, call review and metadata review

• Listen to or review sample of interviews for script compliance, neutrality and respondent treatment

• Investigate anomalies: unusual call durations, straight-lining, repeated answer patterns, suspiciously high productivity

• Verify sample of respondents through back-check calls where appropriate

• Document all findings; recommend retraining, sanctions or process changes where required

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Audit, Social Science, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience in survey quality control, research compliance, or data verification.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting back-checks or data verification within a survey or research environment.
  • Exceptional integrity and an unwavering ability to report concerns and findings objectively and impartially.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing weekly QA checks, including back-checks, call reviews, and metadata analysis.
  • Experience in reviewing interview samples for script compliance, neutrality, and respondent treatment.
  • Ability to investigate and analyze anomalies such as unusual call durations, straight-lining, repeated answer patterns, and suspiciously high productivity.
  • Postgraduate diploma or certification in M&E, Research Quality Assurance, or Internal Audit is highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
