Key Responsibilities

Job Title: IT/CATI Systems Support Officer

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Lagos & Ibadan (with occasional remote work requirements).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, configure, and maintain the CATI platform, including user accounts and questionnaire deployments.
  • Provide timely and effective troubleshooting for a range of technical issues, including login problems, device malfunctions, synchronization failures, and platform errors.
  • Support the secure export of data to the analysis team, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Maintain essential system components such as backup routines, access control records, and system logs.
  • Assist with call recording administration as required and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Ensure the optimal performance and availability of IT systems supporting our data collection efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand their technical needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience supporting digital survey systems, call-centre software, or structured data collection platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience with CATI (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing) systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in maintaining system discipline, including access control and logging.
  • Familiarity with data export processes and ensuring data security.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • A proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an on-site environment.
  • Understanding of data privacy and security best practices.
